Today's flight was a bit turbulent at 2,000 feet,

what with the cool temperature, the heating of the

sun, and the approaching weather system from the

west.  Regardless, the trees looked very beautiful

as the budding leaves are now showing, as well as

many other colors representative of this time of year.

Welcome to my first Spring 2012 Flight Highlights

post after nearly 1-1/2 months grounded due to

poor timing of good weather and a weekend day

that I had available to fly.  It was bumpy up there due to an

approaching cold front from the west and a developing

low pressure in southeast, but I managed to

shoot ten photos I think you will enjoy...

Today was "severe" clear, as is known in the aviation world, with visibility as far as the eye could see. From our vantage point over Trenton, NJ, both New York City and Philadelphia could be clearly seen in that no haze/pollution was visible. The number of photos is less than the past few months, but then again our flight was shorter, and the turbulence at altitude were bouncing us around a bit more. Regardless, I hope you enjoy.
