Lower Hudson Valley of NY, which never dissipated

though looking to the south you can see where it
begins to subside. This was an interesting
phenomenon to witness, and it was most likely due
to a temperature inversion, where instead of cooling
as you gain altitude, just the opposite happens

in Montgomery, NY, you can see the
deck of low clouds which never dissipated, and was
most likely caused by a temperature inversion
