Finally, a new entry to my Flight Highlights BLOG after a six month hiatus, mainly due to an ongoing aerial video project that has taken time away from my aerial photography.  For much of the summer, I have experimented with various Pan/Tilt camera mounts of my own design. I shot numerous videos using these mounts with a GoPro HERO3+ action cam.

As for the photos below, they were shot on a very pretty day with temps near 60F and sunny, deep blue skies with only scattered, fair weather clouds.  I mainly wanted shoot the construction progress of New York's replacement of the existing Tappan Zee bridge.  There are quite a few pictures of the construction site on the Hudson river as well as other views around northeastern New Jersey.
